A weekend, a peaceful small town, almost impossibly cheap yet delicious meals, bright weather, the sand and salty water, the blue sky, a great group of companion; a beach of our own. What else would you want?

we went to Sawarna Beach (and another one which I forget the name), near Bayah, a small town at the very south of Java Island, Banten Province.
it took a long drive to get there -maybe 6 to 8 hours from Depok.

this is only 8 hours away from Depok? I thought you were going off the island.

yup. I can say the area is almost remote and it wasn't easy to get there; ugly roads.. or if we take another way, we'll go through hills and troughs..
so maybe most tourists aren't keen enough to go there -which somehow explains the cleanliness of this beach :)
